Information we collect from you

When you make an enquiry with us we will hold your name, address, email address and any contact number that you give to us. We will also, of course, hold details of any work that you ask us to complete and details of estimates, invoices and payments. This may include photographs of your furniture, before, during and after our work. We reserve the right to use photographs of furniture we have upholstered on our website, and in promotional and advertising material. Such images will never identify you as the owner of the piece of furniture, your address or other personal details (examples of the type of images we may use can be seen on our website). Should you not wish us to use photographs we have taken in this way, you should email us at jenny@jamupholstery.co.uk  in advance of the completion of work.

How we use the information you give us

We use your email to communicate with you, to send you estimates and answer any queries you or we may have about the work we are completing for you, and to invoice you.  From time to time (and only very occasionally) we may email you with information that we think may be of benefit to you (for example if we were to change our contact details). We do not send out newsletters, advertising material or ‘special offers’.  Should you not wish to receive such emails please email us at jenny@jamupholstery.co.uk.

Marketing

We will not pass your details to any third party for marketing purposes or for any other reason.

Access to your information

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of this please email us at jenny@jamupholstery.co.uk

Right to be forgotten

All customers have the right to ask us to remove their details from our records.  We are required to keep financial records for 7 years, so you cannot ask to be erased from these financial records.
